Sociological Research Methods

Surveys
Surveys are questionnaries that are given out to people, to find the overall concensus.

Existing Sources
Existing sources is any data that was collected earlier by other researchers. For example, an encyclopedia.

Interviews
Interviews are face to face interaction, and normally consist of alot of qualitative information.

Participant Observation

Participant observation is when the person doing the studying becomes involved in what it is that their studying. In this picture, I am becoming part of the group I am studying by sitting down and studying with them.
